Corstens (1964)
moved to Amsterdam in 1995. He spend a few years in Tilburg. studied at
the conservatory, but felt he wasn't on the right spot. He had the strong
feeling that one learns on stage. By now he plays alto-, soprano- and tenor
saxes. He feels comfortable in all kinds of line-ups ranging from duo with
guitar or piano to 4-tets or even bigbands andin all kind of styles: klezmer,
gipsy jazz, swing, bebop, blues and even contemporary popmusic.
